Discover Ireland's enchanted Celtic spirit as we escort you to the sights and sounds of urban cosmopolitan Dublin, the vibrant City of the Tribes; Galway, and onto its beautiful surrounds in Connemara. We continue on to the mythical County Clare and the Cliffs of Moher, before arriving in the bustling town of Tralee, where we'll see the scenic Ring of Kerry. We'll then return to the Capital, via the 'Treaty City' of Limerick for a panoramic tour,where you will depart the Emerald Isle for your return home.

 Full Itinerary

Day 1: Sunday - Arrive

Fáilte go Baile Átha Cliath; Welcome to Dublin!, Ireland's capital. Transfer to your Dublin Hotel for check in. (Transfer rates available). Remainder of day free to explore Dublin. Overnight at Academy Plaza Hotel B&B.

Day 2: Monday - Dublin

Morning tour of Dublin, visiting the Book of Kells in Trinity College and the Phoenix Park home to the residence of the Irish President. Visit the Guinness Storehouse in the heart of old Dublin to sample Ireland's most famous creamy stout in its Gravity Bar. Return coach transfer to Dublin city centre. Overnight Academy Plaza Hotel B&B.

Day 3: Tuesday - Dublin to Galway

Depart for a tour of the historic Boyne Valley with a visit to the Hill of Tara, the seat of the High Kings of Ireland. Continue westwards across the rolling central plains, stopping in Clonmacnoise; the 6th century monastic settlement which contains the remains of nine Churches and a Round Tower dating from the 10th to the 16th century. Dinner and overnight in the Clayton Hotel, Galway, Dinner B&B.

Day 4: Wednesday - Connemara

Full day excursion to the natural and unspoilt environment of Connemara with breathtaking views of the mountain and lakes between Lough Corrib and the sea. Visit Kylemore Abbey & Gardens, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Twelve Bens mountain range and Lough Pollacappul & home of the Nuns of the Order of St Benedict. Visit Malachy Kearns workshop to see how bodhráns are crafted - an 18" drum made from goatskin featuring prominently in many traditional music performances. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight at the Clayton Hotel, Galway, Dinner B&B.

Day 5: Thursday - Burren, Cliffs of Moher & Kerry 

Depart for Kerry via the Cliffs of Moher, the highest sea-cliffs in Europe towering 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean and the Burren, a strange lunar like region occupying some 100 square miles and noted for the wide and unusual variety of local flora and fauna. Take the Killimer/Tarbert car ferry over the River Shannon to arrive in Co Kerry. Dinner & overnight in the Ballygarry House Hotel, Tralee, Dinner B&B.

Day 6: Friday - Ring of Kerry

Tour the 'Ring of Kerry'; 200km of Ireland's most spectacular scenery. Mountains, valleys and lakes blend into a palette of scenic splendour. Drive through the villages of Killorglin, Cahirciveen, Waterville & Sneem and approach Killarney via Molls Gap and Ladies View; two famous viewing points over the Lakes of Killarney. Visit Muckross Traditional Farms, adjacent to Muckross House in Killarney National Park. These working farms recreate and portray the traditional farming methods, and way of life, of a typical local, rural community of the 1930s. Dinner & overnight at Ballygarry House Hotel, Dinner B&B.


Day 7: Sunday - Kerry, Blarney to Dublin


Depart for Dublin via Blarney. Visit the world renowned Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle. Afternoon continue to Dublin. This evening we attend an optional evening of Irish music and dance at the Merry Ploughboys Pub in the Dublin Mountains and enjoy a wholesome Irish dinner (supplement €73 p.p, min. 12 pax, applicable). Overnight Tower Hotel B&B.
Day 8: Monday - Depart

Transfer (transfer rates available) to Dublin airport for departure. Slán abhaile
