Sunny South-East Self Drive Tour Itinerary

Kildare Village Outlet Centre 
Day 1 -  Dublin to Kilkenny

Arrival in Dublin. Depart Dublin to Kilkenny. Stop in Kildare to visit the National Stud and Japanese Gardens. Possibility to stop at the Kildare Village Outlet Centre for some retail therapy. Continue on to Kilkenny. Enjoy Kilkenny's exciting nightlife. Overnight in Kilkenny.
 
Kilkenny Castle, Kilkenny Day 2 -  Kilkenny to Waterford

Discover Kilkenny in the morning. Visit Kilkenny Castle and Kilkenny Arts Centre. Enjoy a leisurly walk through the small streets of this medieval town. Depart Kilkenny for Waterford. On your way, stop at Jerpoint to visit Jerpoint Abbey, an outstanding Cisterican Abbey founded in the12th century. Continue on to Waterford City. Overnight in Waterford.
Dunbrody Famine Ship, Co. Wexford Day 3 -  Waterford to Wexford

Get a walking tour of Waterford City. After this, visit the Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre. Leave Waterford and continue to Dunbrody to visit the Dunbrody Famine Ship where you can walk in the footsteps of Irish famine emigrants on their journey of hope across the Atlantic Ocean. Continue on to the Gardens of Kilmokea and enjoy a walk on the 7 acre estate. Leave Kilmokea for Wexford Town. Overnight in Wexford.
Powerscourt Waterfall, Co Wckow Day 4 - Wexford - Wicklow Mountains -  Bray, Co. Wicklow

Leave Wexford for the Wicklow Mountains National Park. First stop is the village of Avoca to learn more about the Avoca Handweavers. Continue on to Glendalough. Visit the monastic site or go for a hike in the surrounding mountains. Take the old Military Route via Sally Gap to the Powerscourt Gardens. On your way you can visit Glencree Visitor Centre and Gift Shop and the Powerscourt Waterfall. Leave the Powerscourt Gardens towards the coastal town of Bray. Enjoy your last evening in a pub on the beach promenade. Overnight in Bray.
Plane, Dublin Airport, Ireland Day 5 - Departure

Drive to Dublin Airport. Return of the Rental Car and Departure.
